Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 13, 2026

ScratchPicks LLC ("ScratchPicks", "we", "us", "our") publishes a daily entertainment newsletter ranking state lottery scratch tickets by publicly available remaining-prize data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

TL;DR: We collect your email, name, state, and (if paid) payment info. We use it to send the newsletter and nothing else. We don't sell data. Unsubscribe from any email.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use your information

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we use to run ScratchPicks — to send emails, process payments, and host our infrastructure — and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. Each provider is bound by contract to use your data only for the services they provide to us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, except as required by law (e.g., valid subpoena).

4. Your choices

5. Data retention

We retain your subscriber data for as long as you're subscribed, plus up to 30 days after unsubscribe (to recover accidental unsubscribes). Payment records are retained by Stripe per their retention policy and applicable tax/financial regulations.

6. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, industry-standard access controls, and never store payment card data ourselves. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions. If we ever experience a breach that affects you, we will notify you without undue delay as required by applicable law.

7. Cookies and tracking

Our landing page does not set tracking cookies. Emails include standard email-marketing tracking pixels (to measure opens) and link redirects (to measure clicks). You can block remote images in your email client to opt out of open tracking.

8. Age restrictions

ScratchPicks is intended for users who are at least 18 years old (or 21 in states where that is the minimum legal lottery age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under those ages. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, email hello@tryscratchpicks.com and we will delete it.

9. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise your rights, email hello@tryscratchpicks.com.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll notify active subscribers by email at least 7 days before the change takes effect and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
